Larry and Kristin visited Amelia Island, for the first time, while on vacation in 2017. They enjoyed a morning drive in the lush green part of the island, around The Plantation, with lunch on the patio at Marche' Burette. Later, that afternoon, at Main Beach, they enjoyed the sound of the waves in the background while reading a good book. Their favorite part of the day is always an evening stroll in downtown Historic Fernandina.
When Kristin crosses the intracoastal waterway, onto the island, she instantly starts to relax. Part of it is all the lush green trees scattered throughout the island and, of course, the culture and pace of life on Amelia Island is very appealing.
There are a lot of different activities that you can do, which is what Larry enjoys most. Over the last couple of years, he has also really embraced the local music scene and downtown events.

Now, they share the island they love, as hosts to family, friends, and guests from all over.
